This is a list of the main career statistics of Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic . To date, Djokovic has won 68 ATPsingles titles, including 12 Grand Slam singles titles, five year-ending championships and a record thirty ATP Masters Series 1000titles. He was also a bronze medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics . Djokovic was first ranked world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on 4 July 2011.

From the 2010 Davis Cup finals to the 2011 Open , Djokovic had a 43-match win streak, placing him behind Guillermo Vilas (46 matches in 1977) and Ivan Lendl (44 matches from 1981-82) on the all-time list. [1] [2] He won 41 straight games from the start of 2011 until the French Open semi-finals, [2] second only to John McEnroe’s record (he started 42-0 in 1984). [3]

Historic achievements

Djokovic has won 12 grand slam (major) titles, the fourth most in the Open Era . He is one of eight players to achieve the Career Grand Slam and he is the only one in tennis history to hold all four great slams on three different surfaces at once. He also holds the joint-record (with Rafael Nadal) of most ATP Masters 1000 titles won with 30 and he has won five ATP World Tour Finals titles, including a record four consecutively from 2012-15.

Djokovic’s 2011 season , during which he went on a 43-match winning streak, is considered one of the greatest seasons by a tennis player in the Open Era. He won 10 titles on three different surfaces and defeated both times, going 10-1 against them. In 2015 , he won three majors in one season for the second time and won a record six ATP Masters 1000 titles before finishing the year with his fourth consecutive year-end championship. This season was seen as the greatest in the Open Era by many fans and analysts. [6] [7] [8] [9]

Djokovic made an all-time record of 12 consecutive Masters finals from 2012-15. He competed in eight final Masters in 2015, breaking the previous record of six finals. He has won multiple titles in 8 different tournaments. He is the only player to win 1+ titles in 8 tournaments and make 2+ finals in all 9 tournaments. As a result, he is considered to be the greatest and most accomplished player in ATP Masters history for his versatility and success in winning the Masters tournaments on a consistent basis. [10]

Djokovic is widely viewed as one of the greatest hardcore players of the Open Era. He has won eight major short titles which is second to Federer’s record of 10. He has also won an Open Masters record of 22 Masters hard short titles. He also has an 88% grand slam match win over a short time, which is an all-time record.

Djokovic’s clay short achievements include 13 titles on the surface, including a French Open title and eight Masters titles. Djokovic is the second player after Robin Söderling to defeat Nadal at the French Open, and is the only player to date to have defeated. He est the only player to defeat Nadal in all three clay court Masters events, qui he Achieved in the final of Madrid and Rome in 2011 and in Monte Carlo in 2013.
